PSP - Firmware Upgrade to 3.71 M33 (step by step)

**IMPORTANT**

01. Before u start upgrading your PSP, make sure that PSP has over 75% battery power (FULL is better)
02. Format your “Memory Stick Duo” to avoid annecessary error
03. Back up your “SAVE” data folder before formating your PSP MSD.
04. An Error while updating PSP will cause “BRICK” or “SEMI BRICK” (recoverable), do it with your own risk.
05. The one who got "BRICK" (bad luck!!), don't throw your PSP yet, because there is still solution for it. (using Pandora Battery + MSD Pro)

- - - - - Here we go - - - - - -

There are 2 basics step for upgrading your PSP, and it depens on where it starts.
For example:

01. PSP still on “1.50 FIRMWARE"…or SONY original firmware.
For help—>see on your PSP's menu:
PSP: \System Setting\System Information\System software: 1.50 <--original firmware

02. PSP on "3.xx OE-A"...which called CUSTOM FirmWare

For help—>see on your PSP's menu:
PSP: \System Setting\System Information\System software: 3.xx OE-A <--custom firmware

-- -- -- -- -- Let's Start -- -- -- -- --

01. PSP still on “1.50 FIRMWARE"…or SONY original firmware.

A. UPDATE from 1.5 —> 3.02 OE-A (Original SONY Firmware to Custom Firmware)

- Extrack file ‘302OE.rar’

- Connect PSP to PC via USB cable

    *
after downloaded, just rename it to: 302.pbp

- After that, copy those 2 files to: PSP/GAME/oeupdmaker/

- So..there are 3 files on “oeupdmaker” :
   > EBOOT.PBP

UPDATE to M33

Ok, now it is from custom firmware 3.XX OE-A —> M33
**upgrading from OE-A to M33 version, is able to do by “JUMPING method”, on the other words, it doesn’t need to do it in order, such as:
3.40 OE-A —> 3.52 M33 —> 3.52 M33-4 —> 3.71 M33—> 3.71 M33-1—> 3.71 M33-2—> 3.71 M33-3—> 3.71 M33-4.

But u can do that using “JUMPER Method”, for example:
from 3.40 OE-A —> 3.71 M33
………………….or from 3.10 OE-A —> 3.71 M33-4
